Production Equipment Rental Brochure

In 2003, I designed a brochure for TV Specialists, Inc. to highlight our rental department, focusing on production equipment rentals for a younger audience, including college and university film students. The design combined a playful, slightly unhinged aesthetic with clear product presentation, showcasing popular brands and equipment organized into the two main categories: Acquisition and Post-Production. A lifestyle image of someone using a highly popular steady-cam rig with a production camera illustrated the practical, hands-on appeal of the equipment.

The brochure was made unique in format, printed on a 17″ wide by 5.5″ high sheet and folded horizontally, creating a memorable, eye-catching piece. The front page featured the brochure title, brand name, and website, integrating production-themed typography and imagery of a camera capturing a model. The back page was kept simple, showing the city, phone number, brand name, and website, making it easy to reference while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The result was a visually engaging and informative brochure tailored to aspiring filmmakers and production students.
